We are seeking interested and qualified candidates for a Plant Human Resource Manager for our Saline MI Facility.    

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing HR department and assigning job duties, evaluating HR team members, providing direction and guidance and ensuring excellent customer service from the HR Team
  • Lead HR policy and procedure communication & implementation to ensure consistency and adherence.
  • Develop & manage employee benefits, insurance, COBRA, unemployment, and Worker's Compensation.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement workplace initiatives to increase safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Direct development & implementation of training programs to improve work force and maintain consistency within operations and corporation.
  • Coordinate hourly pay-per-performance wage administration with plant operations and HR functions to ensure consistency.
  • Manage any potential litigation cases with recommendation of legal counsel and senior management.
  • Review and mediate disciplinary investigations with appropriate plant HR and management functions.
  • Implement and coordinate succession planning development actions as necessary.
  •  Maintain and update regulatory compliance as required.
  •  Demonstrate community relations by involvement in local activities.
  •  Manage and maintain Workers' Compensation system.
  • Manage environmental and safety programs for plants.
  • Ensure performance goals are met for Management Review metrics.

Education/Experience:

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with HR program emphasis preferred
  • 3-5 years Human Resource experience working in Manufacturing Plant preferred  
  • Safety and Environmental program and regulation knowledge
