Come join us! The Automotive Components Division of Windsor Mold Group is a full service supplier of interior and exterior injection molded plastic components and assemblies, providing innovative solutions for automotive plastics applications to original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers.  We offer a great work environment offering industry-competitive pay and benefits. 

Our Precision Plastics facility in Windsor, ON has an opening for a Production Planner.  The ideal candidate for this position is a team player with excellent organizational skills and would be responsible for the following:

  • Analyze production and service requirements and determine material, component, packaging and other requirements.
  • Release and maintain all purchased production and service materials, components and expendable packaging.
  • Ensures production materials (raw, components and expendable packaging) arrive on time to meet production schedules.
  • Monitor forecasts and master schedule.
  • Create and distribute weekly production schedules and revise as needed.
  • Ensures daily production schedules are met and report all finding that do not match the production schedule.
  • Coordinate and liaise with production and shipping staff for all incoming material/components.
  • Establish and maintain a visual warehouse with the aim of reducing DOH through pull systems.
  • Overall supervision of inventory systems using ERP.
  • Assist with physical inventories.
  • Conduct cycle counts on finished part numbers and components when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain end item files, including BOM, engineering changes, material and component listings, and other appropriate and necessary information.
  • Coordinate material requirements with buyer.
  • Attend all Precision Plastics APQP Meetings.


  • Two-year (or higher) technical degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Must possess excellent organization, communication and logical problem solving skills and be a self-starter who will pursue a job through completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
